Henheart’s summer break is over. Get ready for new songs/trouble. Booking will begin this month.

The new album is out and the guys are already busy writing new songs. They will take most of the summer off to pen new tunes but will be back gigging regulary early September.

We’ll keep you posted on possible shows this summer but really just focus on kicking back. Live in the sun.

Henheart will be playing at the Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa, CA on Sunday June 13th w/ reggae legends The Skatalites along with EEDAY (members of Good Charolette & Sugar Ray). Show starts at 9pm with Henheart opening.

Henheart will be performing at Roscoes in Fullerton on May 28th. Opening band still to be determined. Show begins at 10pm.

Henheart’s sophomore release, “Future King” will be in stores Tuesday, May 4th. You can find the album on iTunes, Napster, Amzaon, Lala, Rhapsody & more.

Henheart will be taking the month of April off to celebrate new life, old life, bachelor parties and weddings. They will come back strong in May with their sophomore release, “FUTURE KING”. The new album features a heavier blend of upbeat folk, reggae and rock tunes than previously heard on their 2008 self-titled release. 

Henheart recorded “FUTURE KING” at LOUDWORLD sound co. in Chino Hills, CA. After months of recording sessions, C.W. Heck took the work in progress to Jim Fox at LION and FOX Recording Studios in Washington D.C. for mixing and mastering. Heck felt Fox was the best recording engineer for the new album. His resume includes, Jethro Tull, Don Carlos, Israel Vibrations, and Groundation among many others. After 11 months of recording and sleepless hours mixing and mastering, Henheart and Fox finally completed the album mid October 2009. 

Since then, their have been many delays on the release. From record label interest, to distribution deals, to artwork details and delays (just among a few set backs), the album is now ready for release!!! Postponements are finally out of the way and no one is happier about that than Henheart.

The fellas look forward to sharing their hard work and celebrating with fans the new release. “FUTURE KING” reflects the many musical interests Henheart has and their unique ability to blend different genres into high energy songs. They “thank you all” and hope you enjoy. See you in May!

MAY 4th – FUTURE KING in stores: iTunes, Napster, Amazon, Lala and many more online stores.

Tonight is Henheart’s last night of residency at The Press in Claremont. To end the month right, The Minor Canon will open the show at 10pm. Turn out has been great and Henheart thanks all those who have come out and enjoyed the past month with them.

Henheart’s March residency at The Press continues this Tuesday March 23rd. Show starts at 10pm. The band has invited Casket Salesmen to play who will preform right after at 11pm.
